After a lot of debugging and deep analysis, I discovered the root cause of the issue.​

This was not something a beginner could fix quickly — it required technical knowledge of both MailWizz internals and MySQL schema handling.​

Issue​

Root Cause​

• Some database columns already existed (most likely from a previous update that didn’t finish or manual DB changes).
• When the updater tried to add those columns again → it failed and aborted the update.

Solution​

1. Logged into MySQL and inspected the schema manually.
2. Verified that the required columns were already present.
3. Re-ran the update process — this time the updater skipped the duplicates.
4. Confirmed the installed version with:
   php apps/console/console.php option get_option --name=system.common.version
   
   Output: 2.6.7

Final Result​

• MailWizz successfully updated to v2.6.7.
• Offline mode issue resolved.
• The main cause was a duplicate column in the database schema during the update process.

While trying to update MailWizz from v2.4.9 → v2.6.7 via console:

php /var/www/vhosts/thirtykey.com/EmailSender.thirtykey.com/apps/console/console.php update

the process stopped with the error:
CDbCommand failed to execute the SQL statement:
SQLSTATE[42S21]: Column already exists: 1060 Duplicate column name 'smart_open_tracking'

This caused the application to remain in Offline Mode.
