I had a look into this and there is a part of the code that requires the api call to the licence server which will return the database schema. Without this schema this won't be possible to null from what I can see. Maybe if the schema was able to be got from a valid purchase this could be nulled.

I have removed the licence checks but without the above I wouldn't be able to continue.
