I am getting modeys 1.7.1 license error please help.Empty because there is only license check, which I removed completely

Hello, can I ask u if the update process is the same as before, from 1.5.x to 1.6.x or something changed and how does it work, cause I changed a lot of things in files.
You can first read our rules, introduce yourself. When it will done, maybe I will answer you.
Just regular install or with update_database.php (im a bit confused, sorry). How does it affect actual files ?
regular install will install the version 1.7.1
update database will migrate from a previous version to the version 1.7.1

thank you, but it is problem with my database, i dont wanna install it, i want to update it from 1.6.2 to 1.7.1, but after changing information in database.php it goes with that error, i dont want a fresh start of it
