Just remember, making money will take work & effort, not an over-night thing, no instant gratification, my firm has been helping individuals start adult production companies since 1996 & the number one fail for people is putting time in, real business & revenue take time...
One piece of advise, never try & recreate the wheel, the current wheel rolls just fine, just make the current wheel better, there is not many ideas that haven't already been tried, sometime when you think that your on the road to fail, step-back & take a look with fresh eyes & sometimes the smallest of tweaks, can be your success...

Na that site is not your own api , your using 2embed api so you have no control over the content and the content has ads
That’s just a waste of a good theme
You need to host your own movies and tv shows and have a working api script , then you can use the vip theme
I have added 2embed as a 3rd api only as a backup incase my api stops
What you have to think is why would anyone use yours when they can just use 2embed and have less ads
