try to configure the php.ini in your cPanel
upload_max_filesize is set as default to 2mb
also you can change post_max_size when you're already there

On the root of our folder, add a file called .user.ini (note the dot before the user), and then update as if it was the php.ini file.
In my case, I didn't want to allow access to all sites on my cPanel, so I did this to limit it to a particular folder (and subfolders)

but the .user.ini file no longer supported and has no effect nowadays in last update from cpanel
