Thank you for the suggestion and for thinking about ways to improve the community.
That said, it really isn't difficult to leave a genuine response in a few words without copying what other members have posted. The goal of the reply requirement is not to write a long review of content you haven't seen yet, but simply to encourage members to contribute something original and engage with the thread.

We would much rather see a short, creative, and honest comment than generic copy-pasted replies or responses based on what previous members have written. Even a brief reaction, expectation, or thought about the topic is usually enough when it is your own.

So while we understand your concern about spam, we'd like members to put creativity first and make an effort to leave original responses rather than relying on what others have already said.
