Need help with github app

Any android developer.
Can any one help me in changing the package name of the app.
In github, there is an open source app. SIGNAL MESSAGING APP.

Please, any one who has expertise in android developing side. HELP ME IN CHANGING THE PACKAGE NAME.

I have done some basic apps and also I succesfully make codecanyon apps
But that thing is some what difficult

I'm not experienced in Java/android development, but could you not just rename this?

You could also probably do a refactor, like the stackoverflow shows you, to rename all mentions of the word Signal-Android:

Did you do the refractor properly? And changed the package name at App level gradle? You have to do both. You can go through this article, I found this to be simple & clear... https://www.technetexperts.com/mobile/how-to-change-the-package-name-in-android-studio/
