Hey everyone!
I wanted to pick your brain about OceanWP, especially if you're a web developer:
I haven't used OceanWP in production (yet) but I'd love to hear your experience with it. Is it good? Is it fast?Would you recommend it over Kadence or GeneratePress?
The reason I ask is because I'm used to GeneratePress, which is pretty damn fast, but can also feel a bit barebones, especially when building websites for clients: it's not very beginner/non-coder friendly.
On the other hand, OceanWP seems to offer more options out of the box, but based on the blog posts and marketing website, I was under the impression that the devs behind it may be less experienced than GeneratePress’ dev — which would mean a lesser code quality.
But this is just my uninformed impression, and I could very well be mistaken (especially since I don't code PHP so I'm not able to review the code myself)
Thoughts?
