Just a piracy mitigation strategy from the dev. They could release updates less frequently but it's an attempt to frustrate nullers 
With elementor going mental and off the deep end, looks like I'm gonna familiarize myself with this before supporting Oxygen. Thanks for this! Gonna get going with 3.7

Actually today a new release candidate has been announced: Oxygen Builder v3.7 RC1 - so the finale release 3.7 is on track

Anyone using in on live site?
I've alot troubles with that version
hover states doesn't work with menu module), added classes not overwrite ID settings, wrapped images in link are dissapearing, and bunch more...

The developer of oxygen is crazy & insane. even in the FB forum you can read about how he treats his paid customers.
That he now does everything to stop nulled does not surprise me at all.
