I finally stay with HestiaCP with OVH and left Contabo + Plesk. Very annoying work to tune up the server manually but now I understand the workflow with HestiaCP so I can save money compared to Plesk.

OVH takes me away from all the onetime fee IPs I have so. I don´t need OVH but for me now is a headache to migrate again the server.
can you share more info related to costs?

Contabo has a very nice performance + price ratio. I can recommend Contabo. Plesk is a control panel solution like cPanel very complex in possibilities when you learn the workflow you can work without upsets. In the past, I have had terrible problems with SSL-free certificates with Plesk and now work without much trouble. Per month my last server, Plesk License, and 1 additional IP are like 28 Euros.

OVH has less performance + ratio than OVH. I choose OVH because of the one-time fee IP¨s. I do not recommend OVH. The control panel sucks. HestiaCP is a VestaCP fork. A friend of mine recommends me that panel because is open-source. You need to deal with Linux terminal, some configurations, and some headaches but the panel is great, very simple, and minimalistic. After learning and dealing with DNS, Linux commands email configurations, etc. I have a nice workflow with Namecheap, Cloudflare, and HestiaCP. My server fees per month are 12.5 euros.

I like to return to Contabo and cancel with OVH because takes me away my IPs but I don´t want to expend more time dealing with server migration.

I think you can setup Linux os only, and later add any panel you want (HestiaCP) in Contabo
fastpanel also is good with good support
and cloudpanel if you don't need an email server

I have very good experience with Virtualmin. The free version has nearly all features. Works with Apacha and Nginx out of the box.

I like Cyberpanel and Litespeed Enterprise, but maximum for free LS enterprise is 2GB RAM. You could use open litespeed with Cyberpanel.
I too have very good experience with virtualmin gpl.

Yes! I like what you said. You need to install Linux (Ubuntu usually) and later install the CP. Honestly, I take a long time to start the migration because is very annoying but I needed to do that last December.

I saw other good open-source panels but wanted to stay simple so I continue with HestiaCP. They have a Discord channel for support. Not good for newbies. They are the type of person who if you don´t ask the correct questions not do good answers.
