It absolutely is a theme problem.
I just bought it and the same issue occurs with the newest Elementor demos.
Lets hope they refund me now

Thought it had to be the Theme as tried so many different ways with this. There are several other themes I've nulled with exactly the same issues.It absolutely is a theme problem.

No, the problem is with the Porto developer.
I have tested with a purchased copy and the issue is the same.

@TassieNZ @rsetbrasil I contacted their support and have got the Elementor Demos working but I'm far from happy with the solution.
1) Go to Elementor >> Tools >> General and click “Regenerate CSS” & “Sync Library”
2) Then go to Elementor >> Tools >> Version Control and Click on “RollBack version” after selecting v2.9.8
3) Then finally install the demo again.

Crazy, if you want the theme to work, roll back the Elementor version? Don't worry if Elementor has addressed any security issues, at least the theme will work!
