Hi

I recently tried the SEO tool to check for my backlinks and was shocked to see one particular domain with over 100 links to my domain. On checking the site, noticed it appeared that site was initial a blog site but now no longer a blog site so all posts no longer exists.

I am wondering why this is still appearing as backlinks if posts no longer exist.

Is there a way I can block it?

Thanks

These great seo tools in the market tries to record every data so that you can easily get proper ranking almost similar to the google ranking algorithm. They don't care about (neither google does) whether already created backlinks are dead or expired. Backlinks is just like a point system or you can say like/react system. You got a backlink, you got a like or point. So, don't worry. No one can unlike it!

Referring backlinks is not what you think. You can see my site data

This means, that website is referring 747 domains. You can check the comment section of that site.. It maybe has more than 747 comments with links.

This is good to know, I previously thought removed/deleted back link could harm sites and cause to disgrace a site. But, according to your explanation, removed/deleted back link couldn't harm the site or disgrace it.Thanks for explanation
