Save wordpress articles without making the database heavy when making a story website

Hello, I have a problem that when using the KDN auto leech plugin to post stories on the website, the database data increases. To the extent that just over 1000 story chapters, the database has reached a record number of 5GB.
Is this normal, please?
I have checked the storage disk space has not increased, only the database has increased a lot. Is there a way to fix or replace this?
