Hello. I bought the original plugin and had the same problem. I believe this is more of a corrupted / cache type of problem.
I find out that this was caused by corrupted files so all i had to do was to clean some things from my database related to the plugin and theme settings and got it working again .
This happend to me because i was doing some wordpress reset and import files that it might be the cause of this problem.
Using this guide from the theme documentation also helped me understanding a little better the problem.

how to delete a CUSTOM FIELD section???
Tried Find-Replace in CONTENT section but what should I write in Find?
let's say the CUSTOM FIELD name is babiato
In Find I write
[scrape_meta name="babiato"]
doesn't work
I read the userguide and blog but it's not helping
What are you trying to achieve from here ?
This require some knowledge of regex expression (not my thing to be honest)
For example, you want to find the babiato and then replace if with what ?
Can you give a more specific example of what exactly you wan to achieve, maybe there is another way around to achieve it

how to remove custom field "babiato" from content?
in Find what should I write
or should I use content Find? if yes, what should I write here?
is it really need to be regex expression? such alien language.....
I think i know why v2.1.0 is not working and just on "Running" mode. There is some error, please refer image below

I've stopped using this plugin since it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Also, I'm quite busy lately so I've stopped trying out wp plugins...
I suggest try using wp content crawler since the plugin documentation is VERY DETAILED and it helped me a lot as a noob trying out scraping plugins
