New Release v6.0.2
"NOT NULLED NOT NULLED NOT NULLED"

6.0.2

I just found this on github and it may help to decode the encoded files of Sendy: https://github.com/mjbroekman/decoders

Here is the instruction:

I downloaded untouched 6.0.2 from @gNoM3 and decoded _install.php and functions.php using the Perl tool which @appsggvn provided with link to and nulled both files.
This is my first null attempt so there might be some errors.

I tried installing on localhost and sending test campaign with AWS SES and it worked without any problem.
When you're installing just insert any string in license and it will be automatically "corrected" to "I love Babiato".
I removed all license check (commented those lines) and set custom domains to 999. Also, I commented lines where author is blacklisting your server IP if you're not having a valid license.

Please let me know if it is working for you.

Good luck and enjoy! :)

hey guys anybody knows a good tutorial that teaches how to setup sendy with amazon SES that is catered toward beginners?
I found a few but most of them are a bit old and also not that clear to follow.
If someone can nudge me in the right direction I will be very grateful!

If you're having trouble setting up Sendy you shouldn't be doing this. It's not meant for beginners to do all the "hard" work like instalation.
You need to have Apache server with MySQL database and pretty kuch everything will just work.
Just follow the official instalation guide on Sendy.co

For server setup you can use something like Webinoly, Hestia panel, aaPanel, myVesta, WordOps or any script that will setup all the configuration for you and make managing a site lot easier.
But you will need to be comfortable with SSH and pasting few commands.
And for SES to get out of the sandbox you will need to request that by writing few sentences about how you're gonna use SES, that Sendy will manage all the bounces and unsubscribes etc...

If you need help with anything specific, just ask :)

Hey, thank you so much for replying.

I should have been more clear. So when I say, beginner, it is the first time I am setting up a self-hosted email marketing setup.

I have been using Mailchimp for a while to send my newsletters but as my list size is increasing I am looking for a more budget-friendly setup. So, I pretty much understood most of the pointers you said.

And it's good to know sendy's guides are a good resource.

Can you speak a little more about how to come out of the sandbox stage in SES?

No problem :)
Happy if I can help you.
That was also my primary motivation to move to something like Sendy or maybe Mautic which is open source which I am using now.
Using SES and those services is order of magnitude cheaper than using Mailchimp or other paid services so it certainly is profitable.

And for coming out of sandbox I don't remeber a lot since for me this was more than 2 yeas ago, but I remember that I have some back and forth messaging with Amazon support because they first declined my request so I just explained in more details my use case of why I need arround 50k daily send limit. Basically just explain for exactly what will you be using SES and make sure that you mention that you will be using Sendy and link them to the Sendy website because they need to know how will you manage bounce, unsubscribes and spam complaints which Sendy will do automatically for you so you won't be sending multiple emails to that recipient if their email is wrong or they unsubscribe, etc...

I'm also sure there are some guides online with some examples you can find about requesting to come out of the sandbox, but just be patient because it will take few days to get reply from them and be prepared to elaborate in more details your use case.

If you need any help setting up server for Sendy send me a message 😊
Best regards

Oh wow. This clears so many things.
I will research a bit more and start the setup process.

If I run into an issue I will send a private message :)

Thanks you so much for such an elaborate reply.

Sendy reads your SES sending limit and it won't send faster than allowed. Although, in my case sending speed was arround 7 emails per second even though my limit was 14 per second. I assume that's because I used weak VPS. However, I think that is the OK speed since I don't have very large lists.
