Sense of entitlement, rudeness

I love Babiato, and am a member for a pretty long time.

Today, I have some food for thoughts:

A few individuals are bad for the experience. For instance, yesterday I wanted to gift a few Steam keys I had from a bundle that I wouldn't use.
So I give up my time to look for the links and create a post. Took me perhaps 20 minutes.
I asked two things: Please comment which game you want, and please send PM with email. Nobody did that.

The messages I received were from people who
- did not read the simple thread and asked unnecessary questions
- came across demanding asking for random games (gimme this, gimme that)

I closed the giveaway quickly, because I remembered I had the same problem twice before when I just wanted to do something nice for community members.
I wonder how many people stopped giving away things because a few individuals make the experience unpleasant.
Please appreciate members who give up their time to give you stuff.
At the minimum, have the respect to read the post and not ask too many useless questions.

It's understandable that some are very funny but please do not close your hands from doing good because of people like these. You'd be punishing others who needs it as well.

Just ignore and focus on those who are interested in your deed in the right way you want to share it

@Saint Gabriel is right. I've noticed this rude behavior from people in other threads. Unfortunately, that kind of entitled and rude attitude shows up more and more in real life as well.

One of the best part of this forum is its community. There are some awesome people here, people taking the time to update resources that others use for free. Or do giveaways, like you did.

Just like in real life, my advice would be to ignore the jerks and keep going. They're always going to exist, just don't let them get to you.

If you want to cool off, I recommend watching Michael Douglas's movie from 1993, "Falling Down" :D

See, just be you and continue to do right by people whether they deserve it or not. From what I observed personally, people have come to believe they are in their rights to get anything from Babiato for free and they do it with some horrible sense of entitlement. True, the forum is incredible but there will always be people who think you owe it to them to provide or give what they ask or need. It's the same thing with real life situations. Understandably, almost everyone hates false sense of entitlements, but it is what it is.

Just overlook them and refuse to let them get to you or change you.
