Actually there's nothing like best in this world. Some will say WordPress Woocommerce, some Magento, Some Webflow and some Shopify.

When it comes to speed with WordPress there are many determining factors and your hosting is the very first factor. Next factor is the kind of theme you use next the speed and cache optimization plugins you setup too. Not forgetting the page builder as well.

For a nice setup with blazing fast speed, Siteground/Hostinger + Shopimizer or Woodmart theme + Elementor + WP Rocket = 🔥🔥🔥

This really depends on how large or how many products your future e-commerce website is gonna be/have.
For small shops woocommerce is fine, great support and basically plugins for anything. Webflow is very fast but not the cheapest one and is kinda limited to integrations.
Magento is recommended for large shops.

When you pass the certain limit lets say 10,000 products, it does not matter which platform you use it will be all slow unless you take advantage of some caching apps, cdn usage, faster network, higher memory, nvme drives etc etc. Once you do all that the only other thing you need is a good stack. Simple but costly.

Sometimes even proguiders need help from legendguiders. Let's help him.
I really would like to help him and all of others but the question is not actual question. High speed CMS?
What kind of speed? page loading? search function speed? What is your business or products? Do you want to publish multlingual or local? And beyond these I can suggest woocommerce but if you could not optimize it will not be speedy. So depends your behaivor.

I beg to differ lol.
You should probably check the dictionary for the meaning of the word "Purpose".

He only wants a suggestion that's all, if you can't give him one with the experience you have then you walk silently like you didn't see the post, you need not talk this way.

We all have been in his shoes at a point in time and we can still be in such situations in a different scenario entirely.

So if it's still purposeless to you, Make like an Amoeba and split from the thread.

People could be act like ameoba when they response his question and suggest something because there have no "correct" answer his question without knowing the situation.
It just will convert this conversation vicious circle (thats because I was used "purpose" ). I've been more than 10 years of this web development and I was never ask like that question to anyone even I was noob.

OK I aggree that I was a lil bit rude but you will not help him when you suggest something.

Hi Proguide,

Welcome to Babiato.

People would be able to assist you more on this subject if you could give them enough information like the size of the project, your budget, and what do you plan to sell etc.

P.S. I just noticed that our regulars have given you enough info on this, but they still need to know what exactly are you looking for. These guys are experts on this area, and I always learn something from their posts. The important thing is, "Help them help you."

Have a great day, bro.

Use any of the JS frameworks. You'll thank me later

- Vue.js
- Next.js
- Angular
- Node.js

Edit: I mean, it's not really a CMS as per your question but for its CMS's you can use STRAPI if you have the technical know-how. It's free.

- STRAPI - https://strapi.io/solutions/ecommerce-cms
