Without this, sites with a persistent object cache (Redis, Memcached) could keep serving the pre-rebuild alloptions blob and the search-column list used to build MATCH() queries would lag the actual rebuilt FULLTEXT index — manifesting as "Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list" until the cache expired on its own.
