I am asking is there anyway to update plugins without updating theme. Want to know is it possible to update plugins by wordpress plugins section.

just replace it on old version via ftp

@Tomz any chance you could upload an untouched version of 8.2.1.1 for me please. I'm still only getting 8.2.1 in my themeforest account and because I'm installed on a multisite network i'm not even getting the upgrade from the dashboard.
