hi there Themeforest Regular License Theme use multi web site using ? I purchased a theme license to take advantage of the latest updates. Would it be a problem to use a licensed theme on multiple sites in this way?

Which theme is it? can you send the link?
You can use it in multiple sites but you cannot ask support for multiple sites to the theme developer.

Most of them not reqiured. At least when they releases firstly they does not need it and after some updates and nulling versions surfing on internet they needs to be protectt with licence.
I remember ( I was used before): Martfury, Elessi, Urna, Electro. These themes does not required a licence for starting to importing process
