You can't update nulled themes and plugins since they update according buyer credentials. So real login and password are necessary to allow automatic (and any) update. "nulled' version overpass credential checking, and you can use it as a paid.
So to update the theme just upload it from here (be sure you're downloading 'nulled' version), go to WP Dashboard - Appearance - Themes - Add new - New button - Upload Theme, and then just upload .zip file you've just downloaded and click Install Now button. You'll be promted to replace old Theme version with the new one - so agree. After that the latest Theme version will be installed and thus it will be upgraded

I know thrive has download links for their products (so basically anyone can download an untouched version), if oyu have the link basically you just change the version in the link at it will download the latest, but I haven't been able to find the link to download thrive theme builder.
