I just followed the instructions for compiling the application, I did not change the name of the package. Such as com.mytruelysell.app. I just changed the base URL and socket address to mine.

Note that on devices that do not support Google services such as Huawei, the application will not work. I tested it on two phones, Alcatel with Google services and Huawei. It works on Alcatel, but on Huawei it stays on the home screen.

Unfortunately I haven't worked with a socket and I don't know how to configure it. Get shared hosting as a start. If the application and the site are developing well, then consider for VPS.

I am using a shared host, so.... i can't help you with setting up VPS or Socket servers. I'm sorry.
