I've been using the core development builds from GitHub, with most of the extensions available on here for ~6 months now... haven't experienced any issues. What difference does nulling the core make?

I get that, but surely none of these extensions would actually work? I've never used a nulled version of the core, and just hid the license warning messages with CSS.

And that is exactly why I am asking... you guys wouldn't be doing it for no reason, so something doesn't make sense.

I just installed it with my non-nulled core... seems to work fine and didn't even have to add any CSS to hide the licensing alerts
