Hi, actually, there is not a button, because you must return a sell from an already create invoice or sell. You create a sell return from something, that's why you don't have a return button.

Yes that's right. But sometimes I need express return without specifying the invoice

But with 4.7.3 the Dashboard can't load data information, there is no export on all tables and nothing seems to work properly. So if you have the v4.7.4, why don't you share for for others problems to be resolved.

Because myself I have copied the author.php into the config file and yet still I have the same problem

Today the ultimatepos ask for an invoice number to use in the function to store or update the data. You must work to edit the function, check if the table supports a null value to the invoice number/transaction_id in the column, or edit the table. Create a new window, the functions to work with the new window.
Also, the idea of a return in the sell is for return something, some quantity or something like that. If you don't specify the invoice, you will need to work and verify a lot of things to make it.
You can do it, but you need to work and think if the work you need to do, worth it
