This doc was the only answer from the hosting... (It seems a bad practice in the code...), But i dont know if there are more cases like yours... (Of course i have the same problem...)

there is a credit_sale button in the pos module
I did the 4.7.8 installation and POS does not work to make sales, quotes or drafts, someone passed it to you?, in 4.7.7 it worked

I have 4.7.8 (install fresh) and it works.

its original version . use the patch file available there and replace it in V4.7.7 availbale here and you will be all set .
