He doesn't have a life! Just sits here waiting!!! :cool:

I don't have a life? Or you just want to drag me out here with insults indirectly?

LOL AND .... I still think he may be a spammer!!! 🤣

If I was a spammer please send a screenshot of something or a link I've tried spamming people to or a content, a reply that I created that has anything to do with spamming.

It's really unfair talking about me that way and I don't like it.

This isn't the first time you've said I spam without sharing a proof or pointing out something I spammed.

The fact that I liked @medw1311's comments many a time doesn't in any way mean I don't have a life. I saw it mostly at a like to a landmark and I add a like to it.

I respect all the moderators here including everyone who's not a moderator also.

But labelling me this way is absolutely not worth it, it's not.

Base on my experience, Tatsu from brandexponent is the most easy, lightweight and beautiful too..

It you don't use many of the Astra features I'd recommend changing to Hello and using the Theme Builder capabilities of Elementor Pro.
Soooo much this. There´s no point in using a lightweight theme if you´re not going to use its build-in features. You´re better off using a fully compatible theme build specially for Elementor and start from there.

Elementor for sure as Theme Builder. But after several attempts, I dropped Hello Theme for one reason : there are no native sidebars. It is one of those big gaps.
The only real negative point for elementor is the lack of nested sections.
Otherwise it's really very good for both the developer and the end user / client.

^ Re: nested sections; I know it is not a native solution but HappyAddons does have unlimited sections nesting. See: https://demo.happyaddons.com/unlimited-section-nesting/

As for sidebars, Elementor offers the following help:

How do I add the Widgets menu option?

To enable the Widgets menu item in the WordPress admin menu, use the following code:

if (function_exists("register_sidebar")) {
register_sidebar();
}

You can add this code to your child theme’s functions.php file. Alternatively, you can use a 3rd-party plugin such as Code Snippets to add functions to your theme without needing to use a child theme, and without needing to edit the functions.php file.

Once you have the Widgets menu available to you, you can assign Widgets to the Sidebar as usual in Appearance > Widgets. You can then use this Sidebar anywhere on your Elementor page. Simply add a column in a section and drag the Sidebar widget into the column.

If you prefer to register new or custom widget areas via code, instead of using the Sidebar widget (for example, if you need a sidebar on a non-Elementor page), you can find sample code in the official WordPress Widgetizing Themes documentation. Your code may differ from the sample code based upon your particular needs.

I use both of them extensively. Elementor is better from all angles.

I think WP Bakery will fade away soon due to the lack of innovation. Also, keep an eye on Brizy and Oxygen.

good luck pal

+1 for Oxygen. It is crazy good for developers. The flexibility is great for coding just how you want. The main cons to it at this point are that it is a little buggy. It certainly has it's limitations to be sure but I predict if development continues in a timely fashion this could be even more powerful. JMHO.
