Replace attached file at vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib
login to admin
click license information and click force update license

Thank Given file works.

I have upgraded V6 -> V7.7 but when try to upgrade v7.7 -> 8.1.2 upgrade fails with error

Code:

Unable to complete incremental updates: Unable to import the 8.0.0 Alpha1 database file. 
Unable to import /home/xxxx/public_html/xxxx/resources/sql/upgrade800alpha1.sql: SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'userid' in 'tblactivitylog'

Its look like you may need to update v7.7 to v7.10 then v8.0

you have to activate ionCube loader in your cPanel
