It depends on what you intend to teach, the kind of platform you develop and how you plan to market it.

Every instructor was comparing with Udemy.

Go to Learndash/Instructor/Setting : Admin Customizer : Check ok -> Enable admin customizer for Dashboard And Save Changes.
Now, Go to Appareance/Admin Customizer and customize in 4 easy steps
NB : Your selection of plugins for Admin Theme, Capabilities and Customized menu will affect the "Instructor role css".
Each of us can confirm in this thread his selection which doesn't not cause minor .css troubles.
