hello, would it be problematic in the future to use wordpress nulled themes for commercial purposes?

No, They Are Free to Use, Just keep footer copyright name of theme Developer, Design & Developed by Theme Developer. they charge money only for updates.
problem arise just that many nulled theme hav virus code in them, mostly ads code, people null them and add ads code in them to earn extra bucks. i had experience with that, your client website open ads every time you visit and soon consume your server resources. test null themes, download from trusted sites, even then test them on your own server then deploy on client server.

It should be fine. You only would need to update them manually (same for plugins).
Anyway, if possible, buy the theme/plugin to support their creators. I personally use nulled plugin at development so i know if the plugin is what i need or not, if everything is OK, i purchase the license

Thank you. There are many sites I have created with nulled themes and I usually get the theme files from the babiato form.

You are right, but the themes are very expensive in the country where I am and I cannot afford the site I set up.It should be fine. You only would need to update them manually (same for plugins).
