[Wordpress] Page access to certain users not roles

Hey guys,

I'm doing a website for a client where he needs to give access with information to certain users but not roles (which I have already).

Do you know of any plugin that can do this or someone that can help modify the current one?

Basically what I'm currently doing is, in the navigation menu I can select who can see the page (roles only). I would like to give access to individual users, not roles.

You can use this https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-access-manager/

You can also create separate role for each user and put limitation to these roles accordingly

I can't create a role for each user as its a long one.

Create password protected pages and share the pass to selected users. Will this work?

No because certain users can have access to several pages. This can only work by a user logs in and he will have access to those pages. That's how the client wants it.

If it's not by Role, you can create different User table with specific access in DB, otherwise no options (in my POV), as you are saying it's not by the role.
Please let me know if you find any suitable solutions. This will be new learn for me.

Probably it has to be done with a custom plugin.

you can duplicate the role, modify, the assign to desired user. That's hacky tho, like I said you can use this https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-access-manager/. I used that plugin before on a client, it has granular control.

I will have a look at it. If I can put a page in a menu with access to who the client wants then its good.

Admin area is a bit of a mess, let me know if you need help setting up the plugin.
