I have no problem with this, fresh install and update of this plugin works.
you can try to copy the zip file via ftp under /wp-content/plugins and unpack it from there (with cpanel or file manager)

OK, you were right. the settings page of the plugin (v4.7.9) doesn't work. Probably fixed with the next update, we have to wait for it
