Did you solve the issue already ? If not this is a problem with installation. make sure you performed all the steps correctly. And put proper 'Website URL' in the text box on Information page.
after installation check the .env file if it has all the parameters like APP_KEY and everything updated now.
for example :
APP_KEY=base64:4upQcf3xbzrIQzQ9TbO4wSW4Lyn6N9gbv8+PzIfTlVc=
After doing all steps correctly if you still see 500, check in phpmyadmin if it has updated with new tables or not.
If not then it means the database didn't get uploaded somehow and you can manually upload the file in
Files/Install/database.sql
with the help of phpmyadmin's import option.

You can set APP_DEBUG=true
Also APP_ENV=production
So it will show errors, and what is wrong..
Now when the page opens, First error in 'Application error' tab, you can write here for us to see.

Can you give us Apache logs output? Also make sure you give permissions for the specific user and apache user to the files, especially in case if you used "root" account to upload or extract files via SSH or SFTP.
