Server is running Ubuntu

To be clear i've never ran a PHP script before. I use my server for wordpress builds for clients and I charge them hosting fees. Vultr makes this really affordable. But i'd like to learn how to do install stuff like to expand my business

You run php scripts all the time, it's called Wordpress...

I should have said. i've never manually installed a php script. Wordpress is auto installed through serverpilot onto my vultr server

Update with sitedoctor addon is up, sorry for the delay, came home from vacation and needed to sort some things up before tinkering with this again.

I got it to work, Thank you!!! the only issue now is SiteDoctor.. It wont let me deactivate it so that I can activate it to make it work.

That's weird. I tested it in a local env juste before uploading it. Do you have any more info ?
Can you enable developer tools and tell me what the response is for the deactivate post action ?

Looks like a permission issue. Check the owner and permissions of said file.

I figured it out. It wasn't a permissions issue. The file install.txt is missing in the sitedoctor folder

After putting a install.txt file in the folder the deactivation worked. And now im able to use the add on...

These two tools are very different. This is a SaaS platform, you can charge people for using this tool and rebrand it however you want, and it provides seo tools, not trafic analysis.
