Does anyone know how to set the default open tab menu is timeline or feed on profile page or group page upon opening these pages?

I saw on official theme is set to the respective activity (timeline/feed) upon opening these pages.

any help much appreciated.

Another simpler option is to go to their website and create a demo, that demo is created as an administrator and allows you to access the desktop, and there you can see how they have it configured.

It is in appearance > customize> buddyboss platform > profile navigation > you can slide them up and down as you want.
Exactly like @elofran showed in his images.
