Recipe Card Blocks PRO By WPZOOM v7.4.5
7.4.5
* New: Spam protection for recipe submissions, in Settings > Submissions > Spam Protection. A hidden "honeypot" field and a minimum time to fill in the form stop most bots with nothing to set up, a per-visitor limit caps how many recipes one IP address can send in an hour, and Cloudflare Turnstile (a free, privacy-friendly CAPTCHA alternative) can be turned on by adding its Site Key and Secret Key.
* New: Spam view for submissions (Recipe Cards > Submissions). "Check for Spam" finds submissions sent by bots, and also checks them with Akismet when Akismet is set up. "Empty Spam" deletes all spam submissions at once, even thousands. Submissions can be marked as Spam or Not Spam one by one or in bulk, and Akismet learns from those decisions.
* Improved: When Akismet flags a new submission as spam, it goes to the Spam view for review instead of being lost, and its photo isn't uploaded.
* Fixed: The Akismet check on recipe submissions never flagged anything as spam.
* Fixed: A rejected submission now explains what went wrong (for example an unfinished security check or an expired form), instead of showing no message.
* Fixed: Servings, calories, prep time and cooking time in submissions only accept numbers.
* Security: Approving a recipe submission now checks that the request came from the Submissions screen and that the user is allowed to publish it.
7.4.4
* New: Convert Units tool (Recipe Cards > Convert Units) fills in the US/Metric conversions for all your existing recipes at once, instead of opening each recipe and clicking "Convert All Ingredients". It checks which unit system each recipe's ingredients are written in, flags recipes that need a closer look (a unit system setting that doesn't match the ingredients, mixed units, conversions already typed into the text) and shows every conversion for review before anything changes. Amounts you already converted or typed yourself are never overwritten, the recipe's copy in its post is updated too, and the whole run can be undone.
* New: WP-CLI commands for large sites: `wp rcb unit-conversion scan`, `preview`, `apply` and `undo`.
* Improved: "Convert All Ingredients" converts the whole recipe in one request, with the same rules as the Convert Units tool.
* Improved: Common ingredients such as flours, sugars, butter, oats, nuts, chocolate chips, cheese and spices are converted between cups and grams with a built-in table. This also fixes yeast, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, caster sugar, agave, pumpkin seeds, kosher salt, oat flour and Greek yogurt, which were converted with the wrong weight.
* Improved: Deciliters and centiliters (dl, cl) can now be converted to US measures.
* Improved: Recipes without their own Unit Conversion setting, such as recipes made before the feature existed, now follow Settings > Unit Conversion.
* Improved: The editor now says when no ingredients are converted yet and how to convert them, and the Unit Conversion settings are explained more clearly.
* Fixed: The US/Metric switcher appeared on recipes without converted amounts, where switching changed nothing. It now appears once a recipe has converted amounts.
