Does your share host can hold 2tb of photos ??? I want to use share host as a place to store photos with chevereto source code, is it ok?

Unfortunately no. This is against our acceptable use of policy. No media hosting.
You can read more about our AUP here; https://voxvm.com/aup/

do you have singapore server?

Not at the moment. If you are looking at our web hosting plans, those are located in London, UK. I could provide you with a test IP if you need..

So, I wanted to post a quick "review", because I thought it might be useful to other users, and could also be useful to the team in order to move forward.

Full background, I wasn't aware of VoxVM until I found this thread entirely by chance 2 days ago.

I was, however, on the market for a new hosting company as I wasn't pleased with mine, to say the least (OVH, which has been extremely slow for me, plus I wasn't very happy with their user console or support, so...)

I decided to give VoxVM a shot. I figured, I can take the $2 formula, and pay via PayPal. If I'm not happy after a few days, I'll cancel the subscription, what do I really have to lose?

So, that's what I did, despite the site being a little bare-bones, and honestly not very user-friendly (no screenshots of the back-end interface, not a lot of details, no explanations on which package would suit which usage… Let's say there's plenty of room for improvement on that side. I may be especially attentive to this as I am a UX designer by trade, but I'm sure they would benefit a lot from having a more user-centric approach and be actually helpful in their sales process. Anyway…)

I'll be honest, my first impression wasn't stellar. After paying, I received a number of emails, which looked scrapped together and definitely didn't look like they were coming from an established tech company.
Moreover, my account was listed as "pending" and my invoice as "not paid", whereas it had been paid right away — so, yeah, for a second there I wondered if I had fallen victim to a scam = not the best feeling in the world. VoxVm, if you're reading this, it could be a good idea to automatically activate accounts, or at least manage expectations…

That being said, I reached out to support with the live chat on the bottom right of the site, and they were extremely fast to answer, and helpful, which as very pleasing. They also helped me in connecting a newly bought domain name (I never had to do that manually before, so I was a little lost), and were extremely nice about it!

I then spent the afternoon playing with the server, testing their cPanel, and installing a few websites. I must say, I am EXTREMELY pleased.

The hosting account is very fast (much more than what I was used to from shared hosts) both for navigating and transferring files through FTP, and very flexible in its configuration. I was able to set up a few MySQL databases, a few email addresses, and two websites in under 2 hours.
In fact, to be completely transparent, I feel silly because I should have done this a long time ago, instead of staying with a crappy host that was overcharging me: just try something else, and stop acting like the infrastructure around my website was so damn precious — the content is, the ranking is, but the infrastructure can be transferred or rebuilt so easily, it's almost laughable. So, if you are in the same spot I was, my best advice for you is to find a new hosting company you like, be it VoxVM or another, and just try it out.

I'm so pleased about doing this, I'm thinking about switching to a bigger package next month to host all my web projects. The only thing I'm concerned about is if they'll go the distance. But I set up an automatic oof-site backup for my website so that, even if it was to happen, I wouldn't lose anything.

So, TL;DR: some things are still a little rough around the edges, but the service is top-notch so far. Very pleased with trying this.

Thank you for your throughout review! You should have your services up and running within a couple of seconds after a successful payment, but sometimes Paypal holds the money. Unfortunately, this is out of our hands, and we have to accept the order(s) manually.

That being said, we will be implementing more payment gateways in the upcoming months, so no one should have these kinds of issues anymore.

PS: Emails you received were default ones we send with important information about your services/account. I will have them optimized, too, nonetheless.

Thank you again for your honest review. Looking forward to work with you! 🙌

Well, after seeing a "complete" review, i guess i will give you mine.

So far i have 2 accounts in VoxVM, one related to the company i work for and other for my personal usage.

So i will go by topics:

Support (Ticket and Live Chat):
To be honest, the support is superb. I found VoxVM here in babiato and i decided to scan what they offer. Then i decided to contact by live chat and the replies... blazing fast. I asked a few question about "can i host this much storage in your reseller plans... bla bla" and they replied really fast with the answers i wanted to see.

After buying 2 reseller plans (1 for my personal usage, the cheapest one and 1 for the company i work for), i needed some migrations to be done, so i asked them by ticket if they could migrate some accounts (even some "Addon Domains" to cPanel, that requires manual migration), and they did it on the spot.

I've even had an insue with a website (and it was 100% my fault :p ) and they helped me spotting the problem. The problem was fixed in 5 minutes. (DNS problem, i forgot to change the IPs in cloudflare after migration :poop:)

Performance:
One word, fast. They offer a really good amount of resources (2 CPU cores + 2GB RAM) even for their shared hosting plans. Most of the websites i host are based in WordPress with a fair amount of trafic and they were blazing fast comparing with previous hosts i have used (and paying like double).

Price:
Not much to say here, really cheap for what they offer.

Rating (based in my current satisfaction): 9/10

"But why a 9 if you are just saying good things?"

There is one thing they should improve at, and is the amount of GATEWAYS they provide for payment (PayPal and Bank Transfer for India), they should add more options for the enduser.

TL;DR: Good support and fast servers, they just need to add more payment methods.

Thats all for now folks.
