Yes, unfortunately too many people nowadays don't want to work for it and would rather just grab a ready made template and skip the whole point of learning.....

Hmm, I am not sure why but all demos are importing fine on my end. May I know the name of the demo you are trying to import?
I have tried to download each one, but all show the same error. Tried Finance, Original, SEO, Slider, etc. Reinstalled the theme again, but same error.
I am guessing your server is interfering with the import. I have just installed the SEO demo and it took only a few seconds! See below...

But also i do not have a problem with the header ... for was working fine on a new wordpress install.. The only problem was to install the demo

Works for me, thanks!my experience. Download the 2.1.8 version, set the headers, and download the corresponding demo version in 2.1.8, and then upgrade to 3.0.2.
Important: If the headers need to be modified, you can reinstall a 2.1.8 version, set and modify the headers,
open the database - wp_postmeta - meta_key=pix-header-drag to view the meta_value,
paste your modified headers to the corresponding This can be done in version 3.0.2. No problems have been found so far.
