Hi there BABIATO Community!!

I will audit your WordPress site for FREE!

Don´t expect a full and in-depth report tho, this is a quick overlook of your site quickly browsing and looking for critical and important issues I believe it needs to be addressed in order to improve your site´s overall SEO health.

The main factors I will take a look at are...
  • Technical SEO
  • On-Page SEO
Let´s set some ground rules for this:
  • Make sure to send me your site´s URL through PM so you don´t have to publicly release it here (and potentially build more unnecessary competition for yourself :D )
  • I will only be auditing WordPress-based sites since it´s my main area of expertise.
  • I don´t have a TAT for each request so bear in mind I am doing this for free so be patient, I´ll get to your request eventually.
  • To keep things fair and simple, I will only accept 1x URL per member so, avoid sending me multiple requests. I won´t even bother to reply to you.
  • Since I don´t want to invest too much time on a single site, I will only crawl a small but still a representative number of URL from your site. I think something around 40%-50% of URL is appropiate to give me an idea of any recurrent issues.
  • All findings, recommendations, and advice will be shared here on the forum WITHOUT MENTIONING YOUR SITE´S URL OR NICHE. I prefer to be this way since another goal of mine with this is to potentially educate/guide less experienced members here what to look for when running an SEO audit for a site.
Anyway, let´s get this baby on the road!!

updated the link
I only crawl 1,000 URLs of your site (Around 43%) to bear in mind my comments here are not taking into account your entire site.

This is what I found...

OVERALL PERFORMANCE
  • TTFB - 3secs
  • Full Page Loading Time - 10+ secs
  • HTTP Requests - 71
  • MB Transferred - 5.2
All these values need to be optimized in order to improve your site´s performance and UX.

TECHNICAL ISSUES

CSS & JS

There are almost 3MB of unused CSS and JS loading on your homepage.

Generally, this is due to plugins that are installed on your PC that are loading on pages that are NOT required.

For example, let´s assume you have Contact Form 7 installed on your site. By default, most plugins are going to load on all pages on your site whether you need the features from that plugin or not. Resulting in a massive bloating your site and making it load much slower.

This is particularly true with JS.

Having a large amount of unused JS loading on a page impacts our site negatively in 2 very distinctive ways...
  1. Creates a bigger number of HTTP requests
  2. Increase the number of MB being transferred.
So, by taking care of this you´re pretty much killing two birds with one stone.

The site has quite a lot of unused CSS as well.
da5a79c55fec37c395a3ff7407b3ac4e.png

In fact, there seem to be some incompatibility issues with WordPress Fastest Cache plugin you have installed on the site and the theme (BeTheme).
eceabac2e4fb592bbb99f1803ffeca90.png
There are other CSS & JS related issues but these two are the ones I feel are the most critical.

There are other technical related issues on the site and I am going to briefly mention a few of them...
  • <head> contains invalid HTML elements
  • Multiple title tags (There should be only 1)
  • External URL redirect broken
  • URL issues (uppercase)
  • Indexed resources loading from a non-secure HTTP
RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Install a plugin call Asset Cleanup - This plugin will allow you to select whether a plugin loads on a particular page or not. Obviously, if you have a site with hundreds of pages this won´t be a practical solution. In that scenario, I strongly suggest you hire a web developer to fix this issue for you.
  • Install WP Rocket - This is by far the best optimization plugin and alone it will fix most of your technical issues like inline/minification of CSS and JS, cache issues, lazy loading of images, database maintainance among a few other things.

ON-PAGE ISSUES

IMAGES

I like to tackle this first because, generally, this is where we can do the most impact when it comes to improving a site page loading speed.

I only crawl 43% of your site and there are over 50+ images with 200kb+ and, 9x images with 1MB+ that are highly impacting your site´s performance.

Also, even with much smaller image file size, they still take awful a lot of time to load. There are images weighting 64kb and taking 1.7min to load and, <5kb images taking 2+ secs to load. There´s even a 1.2kb image taking almost 3 seconds to load.

Why is this?

You need to both compress and resize images accordingly.

For example, there´s an image on your site that its original size is 956x1198 and weights 1.9MB but it´s displayed on your site on a container that is 126x126. If you´re going to display large images on small containers you need to properly resizes them.

This is what tools like GTMetrix refers to as "Serve Scale Images".

For instance, if we take this image as an example and I resize it at 150x150 and compressed it the newly resized image now weights 21.42kb!!!

Now, imagine the impact your site would have if you do the same for all 50+ images.

There are other on-page issues but, images have by far the biggest impact on your site page loading speed.

Other on-page issues are:
  • Duplicate page titles
  • Titles above the max recommended length
  • Pages with multiple page titles
  • Pages with no meta descriptions
  • Pages with meta descriptions above the max recommended length
  • Images missing alt tags and titles
  • Pages without the canonical attribute
  • Pages with no Structured data
  • Amon a few others

RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Install a Wordpress performance plugin as well as an image optimization plugin. My choices would be WP Rocket and either Imagify or ShortPixel
If you decide to install WP Rocket you can prefetch the following resources:

//www.google-analytics.com/
//plus.google.com/
//fonts.googleapis.com/
//maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/
//s.w.org/

This will greatly help your site performance.
  • Make sure you tackle all issues with missing canonical attributes, page titles, meta descriptions, H1s, and so on.
I hope this helps,

Cheers!!

OVERALL PERFORMANCE
  • TTFB - 500ms
  • Full Page Loading Time - 13.7secs
  • HTTP Requests - 52
  • MB Transferred - 500kb

TECHNICAL ISSUES
  • Even tho your images are very small they´re still taking a lot of time to load. Their TTFB is very high.
The reason for this is most likely your hosting provider. I ran some PING tets to your host nameservers and got these results...
556eedf2c7b50a19740003feb72c457b.png
Your host nameservers response time for 32 bytes of data request were 273ms (best results) and, the worse, was over 1.100ms. That´s just too much.

For comparison sake, my sites are hosted on Namecheap and I ran the same tests and the worst Namecheap´s nameservers showed was 182ms.

Strongly suggest you switch hosting providers but, stay away from any of the EIG subsidiaries (Bluehost, Hostgator, A2 Hosting, eHost, among many others).

  • There are a couple of CSS resources that are taking a couple of seconds to load and it´s mostly due to the initial connection...
d60a1577b7fdda6b18cf70cd31ab0790.png

Similar story with the other one...
122b4a7747dcea51acf245d203e72fd0.png

These CSS are being used by a widget installed on your site called ".widget-col-10-sp". I can´t find much information about the plugins you have installed on the site.

I see a performance plugin called Hummingbird and a Google Analytics one but can´t find any info about any page builder so, I assume that widget is a build-in feature that comes with the theme you´re using (DooPlay).

There´s also some indication of another plugin that might be slowing your site down and, that is the JetPack plugin.

Its CSS content download time is over 1.5+ secs...
b23c1b7724284c3134e96e5fee1d31de.png

You might want to consider either switching to a lighter version of a similar plugin or, disabling comments altogether. In fact, 100% of all the CSS from the JetPack plugin is been unused on the homepage so, there´s no reason to have it enabled there.
dbadb6d02caef6830aead504c4843470.png

Other technical issues I found on the site...
  • There are 2 versions of the site HTTP/HTTPS
  • inline, referred and minify JS (I see many duplicate resources making request and transferring data)
RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Change performance plugin. I highly recommend WP Rocket. You can download a full version here.
  • I also recommend installing an image optimization plugin that offers webp image format conversion. I use Imagify and it does the job pretty well.
  • Switch hosting company but, still, avoid any of the EIG subsidiaries. I highly recommend either SiteGround or Namecheap (Stellar Business Plan). If you can afford a couple of hundred dollars a year then consider Kinsta or WPX Hosting.
ON-PAGE ISSUES
  • Pages´ titles Missing, duplicated or below the number of recommended characters
  • 42%+ of all the pages crawled didn´t have any meta descriptions
  • 12% of the pages crawled didn´t have any H1 heading or it had multiple
  • No structured data were found
RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Invest some time to tackle these issues. It´s easy to lose sight of things when they´re small things and require a lot of time to get it done.
Hope this helps!

Wow. Thank you so much for starting this wonderful topic and providing free audit of the wordpress hosted site. I am sending you with my details. Please have a check and guide me. I am using WP-rocket and maxCDN. Wanted to know if I add cloudflare too with this setup, will it benefit or it is not recommended (not so useful). ?

I send you a message thank you
OVERALL PERFORMANCE
  • TTFB - 800ms
  • Full Page Loading Time - 8.7secs
  • HTTP Requests - 114
  • MB Transferred - 3.8MB
TECHNICAL ISSUES
  • There are a bit over 1MB of unused CSS and JS loading on the homepage
  • Resize images accordingly to the container they are in - For example, if you have an image with 1500x1200 inside a container that is 450x400 that´s going to create unnecessary bloat on your site. Resize images accordingly to avoid these issues.
  • Add expire header
RECOMMENDATIONS
  • I highly recommend installing an image optimization plugin that offers image conversion to webp format.
  • Resize images according to the container they are in.
ON-PAGE ISSUES (A bit over 2,000 URLs crawled(
  • There is a duplicate Contact and Privacy Policy page.
  • Almost 20% of all page title crawled (A bit over 2,000 URLs crawled)
  • Close to 80% of all the pages crawled
  • Pages with no meta descriptions
  • Close to 90% of all the pages crawled had meta descriptions above the recommended number of characters
  • There are H1 duplicate (Some are canonicalized)
  • Close to 10% of all images on the site were above 100kb
  • 22% of images from crawled pages didn´t have any alt tags
RECOMMENDATIONS
  • I think it´s self-explanatory - I only crawl like less than 20% of your site and still, it resulted in a bit over 2,000 URLs. You have a big site and taking care of this it´s going to take time but, I think it is a necessary work you need to face eventually.

AUDIT REACH
  • 2,135 URLs crawled (7% of the entire site)
  • Performance: Homepage
OVERALL PERFORMANCE
  • TTFB - 200ms
  • Full Page Loading Time - 2.18secs
  • HTTP Requests - 25
  • MB Transferred - 500kb
TECHNICAL ISSUES
Overall your site is the best I´ve audit it thus far. Congratulations!!

Still, there are a few small windows of opportunities to improve your site performance a bit more...
  • There are 4 font related resources taking too much time to load.
c7a41c88e0c995e9224f49f8a1847434.png
  • There are some minor issues with some JS resources
fba61e64a89c48cadb4a733d3fc61a4d.png
  • There are other minor issues with some CSS resources
59405ab5a5ffc435f1582d86c85a23b4.png
  • There´s still a very small window of opportunity to improve your site performance by reducing the amount of unused CSS and JS loading on your homepage.
d38f27353cc2ba9f07f79ab2f70158f1.png
  • 6.40% of all URL crawled return URLs above the maximum number of recommended characters (115)

RECOMMENDATION
  • Install Asset Cleanup (you can get it from here) and disable plugins you are NOT needing on a particular page. This will greatly reduce the bloat other plugin causes on your entire site.
  • Also, you can prefetch certain resources for an even faster load. I see you´re using WP Rocket (good for you :D ) so, inside WP Rocket there´s a prefetch tab, just paste these resources there...
//cdn.yourdomain.com/
//cdn1.yourdomain.com/
//cdn2.yourdomain.com/
//cdn3.yourdomain.com/
//yourdomain.com/
//cdn4.yourdomain.com/
//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/
//googleads.g.doubleclick.net/
//adservice.google.com/
//adservice.google.ca./

Save changes and run a test on GTMetrix and check the score and, make sure your site is loading without any issues.

Take these results as a benchmark to evaluate the impact prefetching those resources will have on your site´s performance.

Particularly, I am more interested to know if your site´s HTTP requests drop from 25. Bear in mind, this is NOT a critical issue but I am guessing we´re striving to make our site´s as optimized as possible in order to be in a much better posisition to offer our audience an improved UX.
f57f4d2f05c73d8683f97c0f58cc3146.png

  • Optimize URL making them more "SEO friendly" (shortening)

ON-PAGE ISSUES
  • 36.9% of all the URLs crawled are loading on a non-secure version of the HTPP
  • 34.8% of all URLs crawled were blocked. This is due to how your robot.txt file is configured. I don´t know if this is by default but your robot.txt file looks like this...
User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

And the standard configuration is this one...

User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /
  • 26.9% of all URLs crawled return some form of redirection (3xx code). The vast majority were 301 (definitive) but, others were 302 (Temporary) and some 307 (Another type of temporary redirect)
  • 0.42% of the URL crawled returned a 4xx error code (broken links)
  • 41.12% of all URLs crawled showed page titles above the maximum number of recommended characters (60-65)
  • 69.09% of all URLs crawled didn´t show any meta description
  • 19.48% of all URLs crawled had meta descriptions over the maximum number of recommended characters (155-160)
  • 36.9% of all images were missing the alt tag attribute
  • 5.8% of all images were above 100kb
  • 42.1% of all URLs crawled didn´t have any canonical attribute
RECOMMENDATION
  • Make the time to tackle these issues. I know you have a massive site but these are exactly the type of things that accumulate over time really fasts and add up negatively affecting your site´s overall SEO health.

hello bosswhere is my report? i am wait for your reply
These are the PMs I received with the URL of the site for the audit...
f952314f834a3a11eb62e6019f4ea624.png

I don´t see yours.

And as part of this giveaway ground rules (you can read them in the OP) I mentioned....
Make sure to send me your site´s URL through PM so you don´t have to publicly release it here (and potentially build more unnecessary competition for yourself :D )
Also, I am processing all requests in the order I received the PMs.

I notice you have a site on your public profile here but you didn´t state you wanted THAT site to be audited. You should´ve specified that on your request here.

If that´s the case please, confirm it here and I will get right on it.
