Last version of @Tomz works good except the header and footer importations.
But it can be fixed with @wp solar solution!

Does anyone face the same issue? Is it from the theme or anything else?

Should be nothing to do with the theme. You need to do a virus scan for your website.

I installed a Newspaper version a few weeks ago. Website reported redirect error and malicious code, I use wordfence plugin to scan malicious code. And they say malicious code from footer. I deleted the website and reinstalled it because my website is brand new.

I never updated any tagdiv theme before.
It has the usual .zip theme file and it has the patch folder

We should upload .zip to Wordpress, or we should upload the patch files via FTP and rewrite the old ones?

You just need to update the theme itself, that is there just to show what has been changed in the latest release.
