Hi,
I looking to UNLOAD symbols.svg & auxin-front-2.woff on the homepage.
i am using phlox free theme.
Is it possible? any solutions?

Use Asset Cleanup plugin or Clearfy.

i want to avoid a plugin just for this, is it possible want to try another method like adding codes to my functions files... or any other solutions...

That's the best way. Those plugins are lightweight.

But how many plugins do you have installed already?

You sound scared of adding in more.

You cannot unload these as auxin-front-2.woff is not enqueued but added via @font-face in auxin-icon.css, and symbols.svg is a sprite file declared as background in main.css.

And that's one of the reasons Phlox is a bad theme: it loads all kinds of unnecessary things that you are unable to unload or dequeue.
