Since they made it so any douche can use it, they target WP sites to hack exploiting vulnerabilities in the scripts and plugins, but also vulnerabilities created by the WEBMASTER who didnt CHMOD properly since they want to pretend they are a grown up super web guy so any script kiddy can upload malicious code and boom!
Another thing, we typically try out what we find here then go BUY it to support the developer. Not ride on freebies.
