I use v5.4.1, same as theme and have no issues with importing demo content at the start during theme setup.
Those plugins are all in the zip file so no need to go searching for them.

Any help importing demo data?

First make sure that all of your WordPress settings are way above the required for this theme, especially the PHP ones.

Check the theme info for the required minimum theme settings or follow the link given in option 1 in your pic.

The same result is obtained when php is set.

Everything's fine and exceeds the requirements tbh.

thegem currently has some nulling issues - theme is not fully nulled on latest version sadly.

(Elementor version) I fix the problem editing "thegem-importer.php" inside thegem-importer plugin folder on line 657, edit the if statement, just try to bypass the if condition, jumping to the else.

Does anyone have WPbakery version Plugins?
