So I have been trying to figure out how to get a good google site speed test score and decided to try out the Contabo VPS SSD 8GB RAM option. Installed webmin, wordpress, setup DNS and installed a wordpress theme. Installed autoptimize plugin.
Tested the site with google site speed test tool and result is terrible.
Mobile: 5
Desktop: 30
So it appears it does not matter how much hardware spec your hosting is, there is something about the wordpress theme that is not playing well with the google site speed test tool.
Anyone with any idea on how to improve this? Thanks
