Why does it warn us that there are extra files not part of the plugin?


Code: 
The Page Cache add-in file advanced-cache.php is not a W3 Total Cache drop-in. It should be removed.

That file is WP Super Cache plugin specific. Remove it and reinstall W3 Total Cache plugin to add its own cache.php file.

It is very simple to NULL this plugin permanently without the need of doing this again after each update:
To make PRO version of FREE version: Create a mu-plugin file (or open an existing) and simply add to that file anywhere:
define( 'W3TC_PRO', true );

Upload it in mu-plugins folder with your ftp

If you don't know what is a mu-plugin please read and learn wordpress documentation.
